LEGONブラックジャージの面々が房総に上陸。AQULSのメンバーがその先導をつとめた。
走行会はMTBのチャンピオン竹谷賢二さんを迎えて「山岳コースをハイペースで駆け抜ける」というものだった。山ではペースを乱してしまうので、僕はヒルクライムの起点までご一緒した。

旧友との再会が目的でもあった。
鶴見辰吾さん、つくいさん、シンボーさん、ヒグさん、いずれも一年半ぶりの再会。約一時間の短い時間だったが、追い風に乗って一緒に飛ばした。
自分の庭のようなところに友人を迎える喜びは何物にも代えがたい嬉しさである。
坂を登っていく後姿を見送る瞬間はやはり寂しかった。

はっきりと姿を見せた富士山、本当に楽しそうに自転車を走らせる竹谷さんの笑顔が印象的だった。





昼前にchouetteさんと千葉のマイヨジョーヌさんを迎えて高滝湖へサイクリング。
レースに興味をもっているマイヨさんと初めてご一緒する。
マイヨさんは２０年ぶりの自転車生活の再開を計画中だ。AQULSでレース活動再開の手伝いも出来たらと思っている。

LEGON走行会はハイスピードツーリング５３キロ。高滝サイクリングはのんびり３６キロ。
猛烈な風にあおられながらだったが、いい一日だった。
